Hi, I am Cheryl E. Felder-Brannon, the CEO of CEFB Integrative Life Coaching. I am an Integrative Life Coach, Holistic Lifestyle Educator, Plant-Based Foods Chef & Educator, Yoga Instructor, Foodie, Speaker, Mother, Wife, Health Nut, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt. I also wear other hats as needed but just call me Cheryl.
I own all of those titles proudly because I own my life. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be in charge of my life. I didn't want to work for someone else, although I did for years, but I made it my goal in life to live life as I pleased. As a child I had visions of running my own corporation, living a healthy life inside and out, having a beautiful home, having time to spend with my family, and traveling the world.
Along my life's journey however, I experienced many challenges and the dreams that I had for my life were push aside or forgotten. I was sickly as a child with asthma and was extremely underweight and being a very picky eater didn't help at all. During my adolescent years I developed rheumatic fever which affected my heart and left me fatigued and achy. Being able to run and play like other kids my age didn't happen. In order to lessen the effects of RF on my heart, joints and tissue inflammation, I was in treatment for over 10 years. In my early teens I began to struggle with an eating disorder and the struggle continued until my late 20's. I struggled for years and years with low self-confidence, doing what pleased everyone except myself. This led to me living a life that was very unfulfilling. I settled for "good enough". The outside perception would lead one to believe that I had a great life, but on the inside I knew that I was living a mediocre life. This mediocre existence resulted in unhealthy eating habits, weight gain, more health problems and loneliness. There came a point when I began to do some soul searching and I asked myself some tough questions about what I really wanted in my life versus what I had settled for in life. I realized that I am responsible for my own health and happiness; I have to take care of myself first. After years of self-care, I am happy to say that I am healthier than I've ever been, my self-confidence is strong and growing because now I know that settling for good enough is not good enough for me.
I have a burning passion for helping others transform their lifestyle. My goal is to help you overcome the subconscious, negative self-talk and self-limiting beliefs that are preventing your from achieving your health goals. I will lay out a personalized, step-by-step plan that will enable you to put yourself first - without any guilt of neglecting your loved ones
I have studied personal development, nutrition, alternative health practices, ancient healing modalities for over 25 years. My passions include food, cooking it and eating it, utilizing foods for their medicinal/healing properties, and studying ancient healing modalities. I have a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology and I have completed the required coursework for a Ph.D in Psychology. However, I did not complete the required dissertation to receive said Ph.D. Instead, I became certified as a life coach and a health coach as well as a registered as a yoga instructor.
Now, I am the owner and founder of CEFB Integrative Life Coaching, formerly known as Halls of Healing, an integrative life coaching practice where I am able to combine my passions with my studies to help others find and lead healthy, happy lifestyles by emphasizing the mind, body and spirit connection. I work with women, particularly wives and mothers, who are ready to choose themselves by learning and understanding that their mindset is what dictates how they show up for themselves and therefore is a huge reason they are not reaching their health goals.
Making the decision to become an Integrative Life Coach set me on the path to better health. Let me help you on your journey to a happier, healthier lifestyle. Contact me today.
