My Ph.D program was a five year program but after two years I knew that I no longer wanted to practice as a licensed psychologist. However, I stayed in the program anyway because there were people in my life who were so proud of my endeavors. I told myself that if I left the program I would disappoint them. So I continued even though my heart wasn't in it; I continued because I didn't want to disappoint all my relatives and friends. I finished the required coursework and started the dissertation process. However, I stalled because again, my heart wasn't in it. I realized that I was continuing the work for everyone except myself.
For much of my life I did what was expected and/or I did whatever it took to please everyone, except myself. I found myself in my 40's, lost, sick and trying to remember what I wanted and what really made me happy.
I had gained weight, and was diagnosed with adrenal fatique and diabetes!
I knew that to be healthy and happy I needed to take care of myself first. I had to make myself my priority.
If you are existing in a body that is fatigued, achy, stressed, overweight or dis-eased, then you are not a priority in your life. If you are tolerating relationships that do not uplift you, you are your priority. If you are not jumping out of bed each morning excited about living in your purpose, then you have settled for mediocrity and You Are Not Your Priority.
You were not created to live a mediocre life.

I utilize a variety of healing modalities including talk therapy, nutrition therapy, meditation, yoga, and essential oils because each person is a unique being and receives and responds differently.
I focus a most on helping you improve your mindset, because mindset is at the core of Making Yourself Your Priority. Together, we will explore concerns specific to you and discover the tools you need to breakthrough self-limiting beliefs and behaviors, to help you reach your goals. Sessions are personalized to help you radically improve your health and happiness.
