Hi Friends! So it's been about a month since my last blog post. I had to take care of myself - period. Thank God that I get to work for myself, but that is part of my plan since I was 18 years old. I realized that for me to be my first priority, I would need to, and very much wanted to, have my own business. I have worked for other people before and I found that taking care of myself first was not always possible or easy. Here's what being my first priority looks like:
Those are only a few of the ways that I make myself my number one priority. Those things are hard to put into place when working for someone else however, it is not impossible and I can show you how. While off, taking care of myself, I had a lot of ideas about things that I'd like to share with you. One of my ideas is doing a podcast about nothing. Yep, nothing. I won't go into detail because I don't want to put it out there before it's ready, plus you probably think I'm crazy to even think that a podcast about nothing is something. Secondly, I've started creating a course centered around food, delicious, wholesome, food; and that's all on that. The third idea of mine which I've actually implemented already, is that I will be accepting one-on-one clients into a 12 week program only. In the past my clients have been one-on-one without a predetermined end date. What I have found is that those who listen and implement the strategies that we come up with are good to go after about 12 weeks. So there's that. So while I've been away, taking care of myself - cuz that's what you do when you make yourself your priority, I have also been thinking about you and the ways that I can support you in making yourself your priority.
